Running for Freedom Virtual Run 2016 – 3rd Annual!

It’s that time of year again!

As we all gear up for running season, I’m asking that you will consider joining me in running for Freedom!

What does it mean to run for freedom?

Did you know that the average age of a child that is sold for sex in the United States is TWELVE? Did you know that Florida is number THREE on the list of states with the most human trafficking activity? Read this article about one incident in Tampa Bay.

How can you be apart?

It’s easy to get involved – run or walk for someone who can’t! Hope for Justice is an organization that works for the prevention, rescue and restoration all over the world. Your donation below will go to helping a little girl or boy, woman or man that is trapped and perhaps literally chained. Held for unspeakable reasons. Last year at our dinner before the races last year, we got to hear the story of a woman named Kathy – a woman who was forced to work here in the Tampa Bay Area… She named streets and clubs that I’ve driven by… It happens here!

This year’s virtual run will work identical to last year. Donate, sign up and run! The virtual race will take place the same weekend as Gasparilla – February 20-21, 2016. You choose the distance, you choose the location! Even if you are already running Gasparilla, register and earn some extra bling!

How to Register:

  1. Donate a minimum of $25: Click here to donate.
  2. Complete the form below.
  3. Run on February 20th or 21st and wait for your bling in the mail! (Note: medals are my way of saying thank you and do not come out of your donation!  100% of your donation goes to Hope for Justice!) Registration for this event will close on Sunday, January 10, 2016.

An extra special way to win!! Every year they do a pasta party on Friday night before the run. I’m offering my “guest seat” up to someone who will link arms with me! Share this post and remind people to put your name down as “Referred By”. The person with the most referrals will get to join me for what is always an educational, emotional and empowering night! (Would have to be a Tampa local or someone willing to travel to Tampa for the event!)
