Our First Cruise – Carnival Paradise

On a last minute whim, David and I took a cruise to celebrate our anniversary as well as my birthday!  We chose a cruise out of Tampa for the ease of travel!

Upon leaving, I was enthralled with the views of Tampa.  I had never seen Tampa from that angle and loved seeing my city this way! We sat on the Serenity deck and enjoyed the views.

We missed seeing the Skyway bridge, as it was already dark and we were at dinner by that point in the trip.

We enjoyed a day at sea with a little bingo – in honor of David’s grandmother!  It was the first time I played bingo since she passed away almost 3 years ago. A Bloody Mary was enjoyed as well!

On our day in Cozumel, we enjoyed Salsa, Salsa and Margaritas.  We learned how to make margaritas and salsa, followed by a salsa dancing lesson.  My husband, who is normally not a dancer, played along and had fun!

David is the cook in our house and loved learning new ways to make salsa!
The view from the second story of this hotel that we were at for this excursion!

We came back to the ship right after our excursion to enjoy the ship a little bit.  I rode the slide about 15 times and loved every minute of it.

We found a cruise to be a great way to spend our anniversary and have already scheduled our 10 year anniversary cruise for next year!
