We started our weekend at Frontera for some yummy mexican and a beverage! I would highly recommend the Play with Fire Margarita and the Carne Asada tacos!
We stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter, which was so cute! It had beautiful trees and streets that resembled New Orleans (without the smell of puke!). The rooms were a step up from a our normal All Star Resorts. Pictured below is the King Cake (not super authentic) and the Beignet Sundae!
We enjoyed some park time at Animal Kingdom, since David had yet to see Pandora yet! Then we made our way to Epcot and enjoyed the fireworks show and a beverage. This shot was courtesy of Fran for our anniversary!
The next morning we enjoyed sleeping in and coffee and beignets before heading out to Hollywood Studios.
Since this day was our official anniversary, I had order matching Star Wars inspired shirts. And our anniversary buttons scored us a free chocolate covered marshmallow. Chewy loved our shirts and did a celebratory arms in the air dance when he saw our buttons!
We had heard amazing things about Le Celliar, but had not been there. It rivaled Charley’s steaks! While the tables were a tad close to each other, the food and service were amazing! I would highly recommend for a special occasion!
On Sunday morning we could see spots of rain rolling in but decided to take the umbrella and give it a chance. We also gave it a chance and asked for a seat at Be Our Guest and were able to get in for lunch! The Grey Stuff really is delicious!
Since I beat David at Toy Story so badly on Saturday, I had to let him win at the Buzz Lightyear ride! We called it an early day and headed home!
Overall a wonderful celebration of ten years!
