At the end of this week I will celebrate my last twenty-something birthday! While I can’t believe it has come so quickly, I am even more grateful for the last few years! I’ve been blessed with an amazing, supportive husband and two amazing kids! I am in better shape now than I have been in a long time! I am grateful for this birthday!
Now… I know that you have all been dying to ask me this question – “What do you want for your birthday?”
(haha… probably not, but I’m going to tell you anyway – feel free to stop reading if a present wasn’t in your plans)
Here’s what I want: A donation to my RettRacers Campaign!
Yes, I would love for you to donate to help research for my sweet Lauren and the thousands of little girls that are affected by Rett Syndrome! My goal is $1,000 raised before I run my first marathon in November! I have so fallen in love with this sweet little girl and it makes it even closer to my heart having a daughter very close to her age. Parker walks, talks, counts, knows her letters and so much more – I am amazed by her every day. Lauren can walk with assistance, has trouble verbally communicating and will encounter may other issues as she grows older. It makes me grateful everyday for the moments I spend with Parker in a new level of blessed. With research and treatment advancements, I would love to walk, even run, alongside my sweet Lauren one day. Help me make that an obtainable reality with a donation to the research and family support through RettSyndrome.org!
No – this is not a joke – don’t worry about sending me a gift – I am beyond blessed and have more than I could need!
Haven’t met my sweet Lauren yet – look back to my first post about her: Meet Sweet Lauren!
