#CorksAndCoasters — Busch Garden’s Food and Wine Festival

Fun and Food go together so well!  This year at the Busch Garden’s they have all of that and more!  Not only can you experience all of the normal coaster fun that Busch Gardens has to offer, including the newest coaster Cobra’s Curse, but there 30 food or beverages stops that have something for everyone! So let’s check out all that the Busch Garden’s Food and Wine Festival has to offer!

Thanks to my relationship with Busch Gardens, I was given complimentary entry to the event in exchange for sharing the event with all of you.  All opinions are my own!

The food was awesome – we had the venison meatloaf, bison slider and the banana’s foster panna cotta!  We had other food as well, but I would highly recommend the Southern Station (where all of these dishes came from! The other must try food is the Griddled Cheesecake Sandwich at the Gourmet Lodge!

So what is the best way to do food and wine? I would recommend purchasing one of these food/drink lanyards at any of the kiosks – instead of purchasing each item individually.  It not only saves you money, but is convenient for paying and getting through the lines quickly.

When I attend any event, I always LOVE to see support of our local community.  Many local breweries are featured throughout the event! You wil have to check the event guide to see if your favorite is there!

With another month left before the festival ends, there are many awesome bands and artists left to preform, check out the list!  On the night we went we got to see the Goo Goo Dolls.  I was amazed that I knew more of their music than my mom and her new hubby!  With the amazing sound stage that Busch Gardens has you can sit in the open seating area or purchase the priority seating passes – which are well worth it if there is a band that you MUST SEE! If you find a band you want to see I would recommend either the Priority Section 1 ($39.99) or Priority Section 2 ($34.99) as these come with a 5 sampler lanyard (valued at $29.99) – essentially paying $5-10 for the luxioury of not having to fight to get good seats!

These photos were taken from the back of Priority Section 1 with no zoom.  While the lead singer is washed out from the lights, check out the unique backdrop that Busch Gardens has for concerts!

In addition to the food, wine, and concerts…. yes, there is more! There are amazing topiaries and other flower displays throughout the festival area! Check out this awesome octopus!  But hurry because the festival is only happening on Saturday and Sunday nights through April 30th!
