This past Tuesday, I had the unique opportunity to sample some delicious Greek Food. I have eaten at several of the Louis Pappas locations and have always loved it – I used to work across the street from the Bay to Bay location in South Tampa. After learning some more of the history of Louis Pappas, I love it even more!
- Local Tampa Small Business – with over 60 years in the community, Louis Pappas is committed to keeping his business local. In their Bay to Bay location, the old photos picture the original Louis as well as the other family members that helped started the Louis Pappas brand.
- Commitment to the Classic Cafe – although they have tried full service restaurants, they are committed to bringing fresh food in a casual atmosphere. All of their food is made fresh in house daily!
- Family Friendly – Of course there is plenty for mom and dad, but they have a larger kids menu than most restaurants. I love that they offer a kid size Gyro – so that they can try it and get a taste of Greek food! They also have Kid’s Eat Free on Sunday nights (with the purchase of an adult meal of course)!
- Delicious Food – I remembered loving their food, but I hadn’t had it in a while! The menu includes things like the classic Greek salad, chopped salad, chicken salad melt, flatbreads, spanakopita and dolmades! They also have a lunch friendly “Pick 2” Combo! And desserts… I was pleasantly surprised – I have never loved rice pudding or bread pudding, but both of these were delicious! They also have the classic Baklava! The perfect addition to any Louis Pappas meal is their Greek Sangria (which can be ordered with a meal or in a larger Take Home bottle!)
